Is it possible you could look into becoming part of the tax free childcare scheme please, specifically for the holiday club? I don't believe there is any additional cost to you as a business, but it helps working parents who rely on holiday clubs.

Or if this not an option, could you offer discounts if multiple days are booked please? thank you! (15th April 2026)

We completely understand why Tax-Free Childcare would be helpful for working parents, especially for holiday activities.

We have looked into this previously, however it is not quite as simple as just signing up to the scheme. From our understanding, providers generally need to be registered or approved as a childcare provider before they can accept Tax-Free Childcare payments. For holiday clubs, this can involve looking at whether Ofsted registration or the Childcare Register would apply, so we would need to be careful that any approach is suitable and compliant.

At the moment, our Fun Days operate as activity-based sports days under AAAsports and British Gymnastics, rather than as registered childcare provision. Our Fun Days also only run for a relatively small number of days across the year during school holidays, rather than being a weekly or year-round childcare service. Because of this, the additional setup, administration and ongoing requirements involved would unfortunately not currently be practical for the way our Fun Days operate.

It is also worth mentioning that most Fun Day spaces are booked by existing Members who already hold AAAsports Membership and insurance. Even if we were able to register for Tax-Free Childcare in the future, we would still need anyone attending to hold the correct AAAsports Membership due to the insurance and activity requirements linked to our programme.

With regards to multi-day discounts, we have offered these previously, however they can become difficult to manage and most Fun Days tend to become fully booked regardless. We also feel our current price per day already offers very good value, especially considering the variety included, the outside activities we bring in, and the staff to Member ratio we provide compared with many other holiday activities.

As with everything we do at AAAsports, we do not aim to be the cheapest option. We aim to offer the best service, experience and value for money we possibly can.
